A $2,500 bid deposit must be received by July 20, 2023, in order to participate in this auction. Refer to the Wire Transfer Instructions in the Terms and Conditions (link above) for instructions on how to pay the deposit.

Properties that fail to meet applicable zoning regulations may be ineligible for building permits or other improvements based on city code.

Prospective buyers are responsible to do all the research they deem necessary to evaluate the property they are interested in purchasing. The Tooele County Auditor’s Office and other county officials do not provide any advice, legal or otherwise, to prospective buyers beyond answering questions related to the administration of the sale.


Parcels are not available for individual sale.


Auction does have a reserve and seller may cancel the sale or auction if minimum reserve price is not met.


 Full payment from the winning bidder must be received within thirty (30) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award. Payment must be made in one of the following ways:


a.            Wire Transfer


b.            Cashier’s Check


c.             Certified Check


Checks or wire transfers must be made out to Tooele County. Payment must be made at the location listed in the Notice of Award (provided after auction closes). The first payment, in the amount of 10% of the winning bid, must be paid within three (3) days after Notice of Award.  The 10% payment will be used as earnest money. The second (final) payment will be the remaining 90%, and must be paid within 30 days after the Notice of Award.
